When:
Daily team matches may begin for combo 40 & over and 55 & over as early as 8:00 am beginning Thursday, Oct.  24^th and ending Sunday, Oct. 27^th.  Rain day is Monday, Oct. 28^th.
Daily team matches may begin for combo 18 & over as early as 8:00 am beginning Thursday, Nov. 7th and ending Sunday, Nov. 10^th.  Rain day is Monday, Nov. 11^th.

Located approximately 4 miles down on Fort Morgan Peninsula (Hwy. 180).  From I65 take Exit 37 (Bay Minette/Gulf Shores Parkway) to Hwy 59.  Travel south into Gulf Shores over intracoastal waterway and take a right on Fort Morgan Rd.  Turn right on Peninsula Blvd.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 24th at Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club Grill.

Mandatory captains meeting for all combo doubles 18 & over captains! 
The meeting for the 6.5 women is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 7th at the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club Grill. 
The meeting for all other levels is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Thursday, November 7th at the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club Grill.

Match Format:
The round robin format of play will be used.  All matches shall be the best of two sets and the set tiebreak shall be used at 6-all in each set.  In lieu of a third set, a match tiebreak shall be played.  There will be a two-minute break after each set with no coaching.  The match tiebreak shall be scored as 1 set and 1 game.   A team is awarded one (1) team point for winning a team match.  The teams with the most team points will win their round robin or if in groups their flight and will proceed to either the semi-finals or finals.  The winning team will be invited to participate in the Southern Sectional Championships.  Each match should consist of three doubles positions.

Coman Tiebreak Procedure to Be Used
The Coman Tiebreak procedure will be used at these championships as follows:

The Coman tiebreak procedure is identical to the regular tiebreak procedure except that the players change ends after the first point and then after every four points, and at the conclusion of the tiebreak.

1. Set Tie Break: First to win 7 points by 2 games wins "Game " and "Set"
2. 3rd set Match Tie Break: First to win 10 points by 2, wins match.
3. The player whose turn it is to serve shall serve the first point from the deuce court.
4. After the first point, the players shall change ends and the following two points shall be served by the opponent(s) (in doubles, the player of the opposing team due to serve next) starting from the add court.
5. After this, each player/team shall serve alternately for two consecutive points (starting from the ad court); changing ends after every four points, until the end of the tie break game.
6. Switch sides after points 1,5,9,13,17... and at the conclusion.

Scoring:
Each team will receive 1 point for each team match won.  All scores are final 48 hours after the conclusion of the tournament.
If one or more round robin flights result in a first place tie, the round robin winner shall be determined by the first of the following procedures that does so:
a.     Individual Matches.  Winner of the most individual matches in the entire competition.
b.     Sets.  Loser of the fewest number of sets.
c.     Games.  Loser of the fewest number of games.
d.     Head-to Head.  Winner of head to head matches.
e.     Coin toss.

For those levels that have three groups the second place team or teams with the best record as determined from above will be designated the wildcard. If a draw results in the second place team playing against the first place team from its own group, the draw shall be altered as follows: second place team shall exchange places with team from the top line of the other semi-final.

Semi Finals will be played as follows for those with three qroups: Winner, Flight 1 vs Second place team, Winner flight 2 vs Winner Flight 3.
